Platinum Powersports started in 2012 as a Family owned and operated West Michigan-based seller of quality used motorcycles and powersports products founded by Tony and  Jen LeFever and has since expanded to 2 locations with 11 major marine and powersports brands. We appreciate your business!

Though Platinum started in a small pole barn in central Michigan selling used motocycles after just a couple short years Rockford became home and business was off and running. We started off selling just pre-owned with a vision for more. With the early focus on motorcycles under $5000 and soon grew into larger segments like used Harley Davidsons. We started there and still carry a large selection of pre-owned motorcycles. In 2o16 we were able to aquire Yamaha from another dealer and quickly became the top volume dealer in the state. In 2019 came a growth opportunity with adding Husqvarna motorcycles (A KTM brand) to fill a niche in the offroad and dual sport segment that helped add to an already great Yamaha lineup. With the rise of CFmoto brand in late 2022 we had the opportunity to add CFmoto. A welcomed addition with a real push from new models covering segments we have never had such a 2up tourning ATvs, Sport side by side machine in 2 and 4 seat and even a 4×4 ATV under $5000 wiht the Cforce 400. Adding Cfmoto to what we already carried was what we needed to service the many types of customers in Michigan. In late 2025 we added much needed showroom space and business continues to grow.

More: From our Rockford location we have customers all around Michigan and primarily Rockford, Cedar Springs, and the Grand Rapids area. We pride ourselves in helping people get riding and we believe we offer the best experience and cleanest pre-owned motorcycles around. We can handle all of your parts, service, accessories and apparel needs. Our specialty is New Yamaha, CFmoto, Husqvarna, GasGas, ssr and Surron OEM Vehicles. With the latest models from Yamaha such as Rmax and the latest in HVAC sxs units from Cfmoto we have you covered for on and off road riding in Michigan. It doesn’t stop there we still sell like to carry 2-10 year old used street bikes including a good selection of used Harley-Davidson®s and we carry a lot of motorcycles under $5000 to get people riding. The Platinum Coloma Story

In 2022 coming out of the Covid environment we were approached by the owner of Coloma Motorsports who was looking to sell. After years as a competitor we felt this would be a good addtional Platinum location helping cover SW Michigan and the border of Michigan towns like Elkhart. Being just off I94 gave us a great east west highway for expansion into Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and even over near Coldwater. Adding this location also gained us Suzuki Powersports, Godfrey Pontoons and tritoons, Hurricane boats and Yamaha watercraft and a nice storage business where we store Pontoons, boats and waverunners. We since added Cfmoto and the store continues to grow.

Located just off beautiful PawPaw lake we pride ourselves in helping people get riding or on the water.
